South West Communications Group brings a revenue-generating WiFi Internet hotspot solution to a multiple winning holiday park.
Hazelwood Park is an award-winning 38-acre holiday park based in the popular Devon resort of Dawlish Warren. It is an independent Park that has been run by the same family for nearly 50 years. The Park includes a fishing lake, outdoor heated swimming pool, on-site shopping facilities and entertainment, a takeaway food service, a children's playground and a launderette. It comprises of several buildings distributed across their site, including a main office building, workshop, leisure area and shop and employs in the region of 40 staff.
The challenge
Hazelwood Park was being faced with increasing requests from their seasonal customers and residents for Internet access. Being one of the prerequisites for becoming a five-star park and Hazelwood needed to source a solution to answer the demands of their customers and also to keep the Park at the forefront of tourist accommodation in the area.
