South West Communications Group has been a long-term supporter of charities in and around Exeter. It also supports local branches of national charities, such as Wooden Spoon and the Prince’s Trust. It also has a proud tradition of supporting its local sports teams, with Exeter Chiefs at the forefront of its sports portfolio.

Exeter Chiefs South West Communications Group has been the main and first team sponsor of Exeter Chiefs for 18 years supporting the club through its move to the 10,500-capactity Sandy Park and its promotion into rugby’s top flight, the Aviva Premiership.


University of Exeter South West Communications Group has sponsored the University’s rugby 1st XV since 2005 along with providing the South West Communications Sports Scholarship that supports three gifted rugby players through their academic studies.


Bicton College Bicton College is a leading land-based college set within an area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of Devon. South West Communications Group sponsors its 1xt XV in keeping with its long-held strategy of supporting young rugby players as they strive to develop their talent at senior level.


Withycombe RFC The club was founded in 1926 and the “Withies” 1st XV now play in the Cornwall & Devon League. South West Communications Group has been Withycombe’s main sponsor for over 12 years seeing the club into the new millennium.


Wooden Spoon A children's charity founded in 1983 and backed by the British and Irish rugby community that is dedicated to helping underprivileged children and young people all over the UK and Ireland to live happier, richer lives. South West Communications Group has been involved with Wooden Spoon since 2003.


Exeter Foundation South West Communications Group whole heartedly supports this newly established charity which has the sole purpose of acting as a fundraising umbrella for all other participating charities in the Exeter area meaning locally raised money is spent on deserving local causes.


The C Group Founded in May 2008, the purpose of The C Group is to raise awareness and generate practical support throughout the business community for Royal Marines, particularly those who are suffering the long-term effects of injuries sustained on operations. The C Group now comprises more than 50 businessmen and women ensuring its support programme is well underway.


Prince's Trust South West Communications Group has raised more than £45,000 to date for this worthy cause after taking up the Million Makers challenge in 2007 and going on to win the regional fundraisers title. South West Communications Group became a patron of the charity in 2008.


Vranch House Vranch House is an independent day school in Exeter for children with significant physical difficulties, a centre for the treatment of outpatients and a provider of various therapies in other schools in Devon. The school is owned and maintained by the Devon & Exeter Spastics Society.


Lympstone South West Telecoms Brass Band The band dates back as far back as 1889 and has been supported by South West Communications Group for more than 13 years, when the company was formerly known as South West Telecoms.


Exeter Initiative for Science & Technology Promotes Exeter as an internationally-renowned location for excellence in science, research and innovation. South West Communications Group is ExIST's information & communications technology sponsor.
