Paragon Community Housing Group invests in new telephone system

Paragon Community Housing Group has recently awarded a contract to South West Communications Group for a new telephone system to improve contact with its residents.

Paragon Community Housing Group has recently awarded a contract to South West Communications Group for a new telephone system to improve contact with its residents.

The new telephone system will enable Paragon to improve its telephone service:

  • In monitoring how long it takes to answer calls and whether any calls are lost
  • Communication between Paragon offices
  • Call recording to ensure our staff are providing good customer service

The contract with South West Communications Group represents a considerable investment, and ensures that Paragon keeps up to date with the latest telephone technology, such as contact centres. As well as telephone services, the internal Paragon network will be upgraded giving the future ability to better integrate applications with telephony.

Barry Alford, IT manager for Paragon, said: “Responding to our residents in a faster and more efficient manner, value for money, along with the quality of ongoing support were the key criteria in selecting the solution proposed by the South West Communications Group.“

Sarah Flowers, South West Communications Group’s sales director, said: “We are delighted to have been selected for this contract with Paragon Community Housing Group. As a provider of a range of communications solutions, we were in the fortunate position of having designed installed and maintained telephone and data solutions for a number of housing associations that have enjoyed improved call handling ever since.”

The new telephone system will be installed over the next few months and is expected to be fully live and operation at the Paragon main office in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, by the end of June 2011.
