Does your business really need leased lines?

The question is an important one as your business may be spending thousands of pounds on recurring monthly costs for leased lines when there is a viable, cost-effective alternative.

An OFCOM survey revealed more than 30% of small & medium businesses use leased lines and that companies in the south of England paid out a lot more for them.

You may have accepted the monthly cost of leased lines as something that is part and parcel of funding your business, but there may be an alternative solution that will stop this drain on precious resources.

Microwave point to point technology provides cost-effective and flexible connectivity for voice, data and video to reduce operating costs. It provides comparable reliable, private, high-speed links to help create wide area networks (WANs) but at the fraction of the cumulative cost.

Former newspaper journalist, Caroline joined the company in 2008 with no previous knowledge of the industry.

She set about stripping back all the jargon to produce plain English marketing collateral to support the sales teams. Now slightly more well-versed in the dark arts of voice, connectivity and data services, Caroline writes blogs, case studies, data sheets and social media updates to engage with potential and existing customers.

This industry is far cry from her previous working life when she worked as communications manager for Exeter Chiefs and Northampton Saints.
