Every business is keen to save money and control their costs and there are a number of ways that this can be achieved with a modern telephone system.

Providing businesses with a user-friendly, management platform virtually eradicates the need to call out engineers to make day to day system programming changes.

Simple management control of day to day features and functions is a feature of modern telephone systems and serves to reduce ongoing engineering costs while providing a more responsive facility to meet the day to day changing needs of any business.

Call barring to more expensive call destinations - such as premium rate numbers, mobiles, international numbers, etc - can be programmed to control costs while still offering the flexibility to give staff access to specific expensive destinations for business purposes.

Telephone systems can also be provided with a call logging to provide reports on call traffic. These reports can be produced on inbound and outbound call traffic so calls can be allocated to extension users and departments for detailed analysis and cost allocation.

Call logging also measures operator and extension response times, detailing call answer times, lost calls, etc, ensuring calls are being answered and processed efficiently and that calls, and potential business, are not being lost at peak times.
