Today, people are making more use of the internet while on the go and thus, they expect to access the WiFi hotspots while they are on the move. A Wi-Fi network will allow guests or customers the opportunity to use their smartphones, tablet computers or laptops to connect to the internet, whether that is for work, play or simply when some form of information is needed – perhaps a phone number or address.

Recent research has found that 10.6 million Brits use high street Wi-Fi options each week, while 5 million use Wi-Fi networks in pubs and restaurants for work purposes. Younger consumers will actively seek out a bar, cafe or restaurant with free and reliable Wi-Fi to share and collaborate on their social platforms. There is definitely an appetite free Wi-Fi, find out more statistics in our infographic below.
